“When I practice, I describe myself as a mad forensic scientist + Mathematician + practitioner of the ancient art of Chinese Medicine.
I translate medicine + physiology into the Language of Chinese medicine and philosophy, even though I speak English only.
I’m half Chinese / Malay and raised familiar with the Chinese zodiac, and superstitions in Chinese culture.
I spent 4 years studying a degree and a decade of clinical practice pushing to legitimise Chinese Medicine in the greater health care system.
I use the knowledge and wisdom learnt from teachers and textbooks, my life experience, and what I have learnt to be the most important: my intuition, all in the name of helping others heal. AND myself. Learning about myself. Growing into myself. Being my best self, to serve my clients in the best way possible.”
Tia has been in clinical practice in Paddington since 2008. Tia is driven to optimise your health in a caring and nurturing environment to facilitate deep healing.Tia is infinitely curious and passionate about the application and effects of the ancient practice of Chinese Medicine, specifically acupuncture. She commits many hours to ongoing study and development each year and combine this knowledge to offer a safe and supported wellness journey for each client.
